An exciting Lead Electrical Engineer role has become available due to the growth within Ventia’s Engineering Services. If you hold extensive experience primarily in HV/LV System Design, we would love to explore the opportunity of you becoming part of our dynamic and collaborative team of electrical and instrument engineers, as well as designers based in Sydney. We are open to considering other locations such as Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

What are we looking for?

Engineers Australia recognised tertiary electrical engineering qualification Expertise in the design of Industrial Electrical Substations, with a strong knowledge of HV & LV electrical system design, including earthing, protection, power system studies using software and cable sizing Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and working collaboratively within a team environment Strong management abilities with a passion for mentoring junior engineers and driving engineering project success Proven track record in electrical consulting and design, with the ability to lead projects, including overseeing the development and preparation of engineering documents, specifications, and drawings to meet project deadlines and budgets
