**What you’ll do:**
• Architects and designs robust embedded software for power electronics products and platforms
• Develops embedded software on a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) in C/C++ language for real-time control
• Implements, tests, and troubleshoots embedded software
• Plans and performs embedded software development and validation on Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) and lab
• Creates technical reports and presentations
• Initiates and leads design reviews and technical discussions, including brainstorming
**Qualifications:**
• BS in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience in the development of embedded software for power electronics products.
• Strong skills in embedded software architecture and C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems, digital signal processing, and digital control.
• Experience with DSP, microcontrollers, and standard peripheral components.
• Familiarity with development tools such as compilers and debuggers.
• Working knowledge of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) HW and SW.
• Working knowledge of auto-code generation tools (e.g., Simulink Coder) .
• Experience working in diverse cultural situations with global customers and team members.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering processes.
• Ability to learn new skills, technical knowledge, products, or industry .
• Strong written communication and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team-oriented, global, and diverse environment.
