In this role, you will:

Engage in prospect contact activities and employ contact strategies focused on generating complete Commercial and Industrial relationships with annual sales revenue typically up to $100MMFocus on intentional EMM customer selection/acquisition to grow the businessEmploy contact strategies focused on generating complete C&I relationshipsAcquire complete customer relationships where Wells Fargo is the primary/sole bankEngage in proactive prospect contact activities aligned with MMB Standards of CareDevelop quality prospect/COI listsMaintain a disciplined approach to pipeline managementFully leverage CRM to manage prospect and COI relationshipsPartner with and refer to both Virtual and In-market EMM RMsEngage and consult with partner groups to recommend best fit solutionsGenerate/qualify referrals across Consumer Small Business and MMB business development teamsRemain engaged with prospect and sales process until prospect converts to customer


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Emerging Middle Market Business Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Proven track record and experience in direct sourcing and prospecting new clientsCommercial or Middle Market account relationship management experienceEstablished network in the local Greater Oregon and Southwest Washington marketsExisting local in-market network to fuel business developmentExperience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areasTreasury Management product knowledgeExperience building relationships with community organizations and key community influencersProven ability to develop and execute a sales strategyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills              Proficient with MS Technology Platforms (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)Credit acumen demonstrated through educationRisk management experience to include understanding of the responsibility to protect sensitive informationParticipation in an industry group or organization that aligns with Wells Fargo's support of Diversity, Equity & InclusionBachelor’s degree
