Technical Activities
Serve as a focal for the product engineers to go to with questions or concerns for the IMA toolsMentor and train engineers on the aspects of avionics configurationReview requirements and test case documentation as updates are made, ensuring that the format is correct and ensuring consistencyInternally review requirements and test cases prior to a formal peer review as the technical lead. Identify risk areas, develop risk mitigation plans, and communicate these to the Project Lead.Troubleshoot problems that may arise relating to the high level architecture of the IMA tool suite.Develop estimate for systems engineering tasks to ensure that all aspects of the work are covered.Collaborate with project systems engineers to help convert a schedule that has product (ie IMA) functionality items into a schedule that is tool based that lists plug-ins and functionality updates to the plug-insAssign systems tasks to engineers and help set priorities of tasks. Propose and develop new technical solutions to difficult problems.Required Qualifications
Experience with engineering processes including:Requirements definition, allocation, validation, verification6+ yearSoftware development and integrationFAA / EASA / NAA certificationThis role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens.
