Lead Engineer
Are you a highly skilled engineer, with strong technical background on automation control system? In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, manage remote resources and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with cross functional teams to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions related to DCS/ESD/F&G and higher level applications. If you have a strong voice in driving innovation within the company and you are eager to take on a new challenge join our team! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Support the relevant Project Manager in understanding, managing and achieving each customer’s expectations + Take ownership of the engineering activities and proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard + Be a focal point for all technical communication with the customer for the assigned work + Fully understands the scope of work for all allocated engineering output and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule, as well as advising the Manager of any customer-initiated changes in scope + Support the Management in the creation of an inclusive and supportive environment for all personnel within the project team and actively support team members in achieving any personal development objectives that may have been set for the project + Actively contribute to any assigned bid activities to ensure that the customer’s requirements are fully understood, and that innovative and efficient solutions are proposed **Who You Are:** You are passionate about making an impact and always act with integrity. You continuously push yourself to achieve new goals and are not afraid to question the status quo by proposing creative solutions to problems. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Engineering degree, state-certified technician, completed vocational training or equivalent knowledge + 3+ years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record of managing system design, implementation and factory/site acceptance test phases of process automation control systems (DCS preferred) + Ability to lead a technical team – with leadership experience preferred + Experience with direct customer contact + Proficient in Italian and English (verbal and written); **Preferred qualifications that set you apart:** + Knowledge and experience in Lifesciences market and with batch application + Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity and networking (VLAN, router, network segmentation) + Knowledge and experience in DCS control systems (DeltaV preferred) **Our Offer to You** At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.
