Job Description SummaryIn this role, design engineer will be part of the Advanced Mechanical Design team and will contribute to technology maturation for the fan module of the next generation Aircraft engines. Engineer will own the design of stator hardware of the product and technology maturation test rigs.

Roles and Responsibilities
Involves in design and development of aircraft engines components from conceptual design phase till testing and validation of concepts. Develops in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking and technical experience to execute projects/programs. An individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills; Provides informal guidance to new team membersOwns individual, moderate complex components and analysis.Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. MTech (Master of Technology)/ MS (Master of Science) in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university4+ years of experience in mechanical design and analyses of structural/rotating componentsExperience in tools: Ansys and UnigraphicsDesired Characteristics
