The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

Leading all Regulatory activities related to India cluster, IEC standards and Regulations in the Asia region.

Location - Gurgaon

Your responsibilities will include

Regulatory affairs in India Cluster and Asia Pacific countries including China, Oceania) in Home appliances.

Communicate the changes in Regulatory activities in Asia on IEC and other Asian standards including India standards

Join BIS, BEE and IEC Technical Committee/ Working Groups and represent Whirlpool Asia

Advocacy with Govt. bodies / IEC Panel in favour of business

Extend support, to stakeholders in resolving queries related to BIS, Asian Standards, IEC Standards and Certifications

As an internal Compliance Council member, communicate with leadership

Exposure/experience of working in a global cross functional team environment

Minimum requirements

B.E/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics,

10-13 years Experience in Regulatory affairs in India Cluster and IEC Standards.

Preferred skills and experiences

Experience in communicating with External bodies, Government and Regulators and Association members like CEAMA, RAMA etc.

Technical Experience : 

Must be able to understand Product Requirements, Testing and Certifications
