Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop internal connections, internal layouts, tank structures, and external components for power transformers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and engineering standards.
Create and maintain accurate and detailed customer drawings, meeting internal and external standards (ISO, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
Review and interpret customer specifications to develop robust design solutions that meet performance and safety standards.
Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Apply DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify potential failure modes and improve design robustness.
Conduct failure analysis using RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to resolve design-related issues effectively.
Utilize advanced 3D CAD tools (Inventor, Creo) to design, optimize, and iterate transformer components and systems.
Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) using tools like ANSYS to ensure the structural and thermal integrity of transformer designs.
Support manufacturing teams by providing design guidance, reviewing shop drawings, and assisting in the resolution of production challenges.
Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards and best practices, including but not limited to ISO, IEC, IEEE.
Coordinate and support customer-facing activities, including design presentations, clarification of technical details, and addressing design-related queries.
