Providing technical oversight of Platform Engineering for Restaurant Technology within the Wendy’s Brand. The candidate will lead various new initiatives for research and development of Cloud Native solutions within restaurant technology architecture. They will lead during the design, development, testing and implementation of programs / solutions for integration into the Wendy’s infrastructure to support business initiatives.  Acts as a functional liaison between IT groups and business partners, candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate with multiple IT functions such as Digital, Restaurant, Security, and Infrastructure. Owns technical design and is responsible for the successful transition of development projects into production. They will lead heavily in the migration of restaurant technologies to GCP and the globalization of the restaurant platform.

Responsibilities Provides technical design leadership on Solutions aimed at  improving operations for the Wendy’s brand. Responsible for ensuring projects are defined, developed, tested, and implemented successfully. Represents IT in project review meetings and follows the departmental project management methodology and best practicies. Partners with Business Owners to ensure all technology related work requests are properly planned and documented. Establishes regular cross-functional meetings and procedures to review/prioritize new and existing work requests. Provides weekly project updates to direct manager; attends regularly scheduled status meetings and other working meetings as assigned. Actively identifies solutions and process improvements leading to decreased costs or improved execution. Solves complex issues for projects/solutions that are assigned. Supports ongoing maintenance of business needs as necessary. What we expect from you Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT field and 6+ years in IT related activities with emphasis on system design, security, system administration, and networkingKnowledge of Information Technology system concepts, operational procedures, operating systems, training procedures and processes, departmental functions and strong computer applications experience.  Ability to identify technical and security issues and collaborate with Security teams and vendors to provide and deploy remediation options.Leading cross-functional teams and communicating with peers and upper management.  Strong communication (written and verbal), organization, planning, leadership and management skills. Comfortable with presenting to all levels of management.Flexibility working in a fast pace changing environment, quick learner.  Strong technical aptitude and desire to understand and develop more in-depth technical knowledge and understanding“Wendy’s was built on the premise, "Quality is our Recipe®," which remains the guidepost of the Wendy's system. The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.  This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. *  The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: $114,000 - $200,000 Annually
