Lead Engineer Tech II

The Flight Test Instrumentation Technician is responsible\nthe installation, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of the data\nacquisition systems on the 757 Flying Test Bed (FTB) and other test vehicles as\nwell as implementing electrical and systems alterations to the entire fleet of\nExperimental Flight Test Aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with\n Engineering to ensure that the test article instrumentation set-up is\n fully configured.

Works with Engineering\n to ensure that data acquisition and display requirements are achieved (and\n achievable).

In conjunction with\n Engineering and Quality ensures that electrical and instrumentation work\n is properly documented.

Working closely with the\n Engineers preparing procedures for the safe and proper operation of the\n instrumentation, data displays and electrical systems on the FTB.

Supports the FTE,\n Project Test Engineer, engineering analysts, and Test Pilots during the\n Flight Tests as a member of the flight crew.
Participates in the\n Flight Readiness Review (FRR) process as required.

Monitors real-time data\n for quality during all test operations.

Troubleshooting and\n correcting data system issues during all test operations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

 
High School Diploma
Hands on experience with\n wiring (Aircraft wiring experience preferred)
Experience working with\n Electrical Drawings

Experience in test\n support.
FAA\n Airframe & Propulsion license.
Experience\n in computer networking
Working knowledge of the\n following systems is a plus:
Honeywell Digital Data\n Acquisition Systems
Dewesoft Data\n Acquisition Systems
