In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Project Familiarization: Understanding of Project Specification, scope of work, etc. Understanding of P&IDs, electrical & architectural drawings within the specification package Integrate with existing Project team: Includes leading / conducting internal Emerson meetings on technical content Ability to work independently and achieve results Coordination with vendors IO Database: Build and maintain IO DB in OPVE Understanding of IO partitioning best practices Review Design Modifications for impact to IO DB Updates to Customer for Termination List details Controls & Graphics Engineering: Understanding of the processes and controls of a Wastewater facility Understand and use Control Narratives Understanding of Graphics philosophy, HP Graphics knowledge would be an advantage Coordinate with GEC implementation teams; providing guidance as needed Includes leading / conducting internal meetings on technical content Participate in Customer Meetings (In-Person / Teams) Leading, Supporting, etc. as needed Discussion of technical content with customer, Engineer of Record (EOR), end-user etc. Customer Workshops (In-Person; Teams): Leading, Supporting, etc. as needed Create workshop content: Agenda, Meeting Minutes, References, etc. Customer Hardware / Software FATs (In-Person): Leading, Supporting, etc. as needed Participate in Customer Software FATs (In-Person; Teams). Technical Correspondence: Internal exchange with Emerson teams External exchange with Customer teams Create and maintain Technical Submittals: Build / assemble project submittals Create Resubmittals based on Engineer Responses Review technical content of other project team members Request for Information (RFI) process: Create technical RFIs, directed to: Customer End-user Contractors & Subcontractors Answer incoming emails from Customers for consultation on their RFIs and Engineer Responses Understanding of Networking Field LAN Router (FLR) configurations Links Switch (LSW) configurations Understanding of Datalinks ELC configurations Understanding of Ovation Hardware Cabinet Configuration drawings Interface with Hardware Engineer(s) Familiarity with AEO process Coordinating SME requests (SMERQ) Enter SMERQs for execution of Network configurations Enter SMERQs for execution of Datalink configurations

For This Role, You Will Need:
4 years bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, E&I 5 - 15 year of experience with 5+ years' project engineering and / or commissioning experience in Emerson Control design, implementation, process testing for Power / Water Treatment plants Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematicsPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents Ability to optimally present information and respond to queries from management, clients and customers Experience of working on WWWT projects will be advantageous Proficiency with one or more DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI 90 / Symphony Harmony, Yokogawa Centum VP / CS3000, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark V / VI, Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation, Invensys, Honeywell TDC3000, MaxDNA, MetsoDNA, Alstom Alspa320, Allen Bradley / GE-Fanuc / Schneider / Siemens PLCs & SCADA etc.) Knowledge of datalinks (Modbus RTU / TCP-IP, ELC, Profibus, OPC)Our Offer to You:
