As a Lead Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in assisting the engineering team and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects. You will lead and coordinate a team of technicians to provide technical facilitation for product development and testing.
\n\nYou will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Norcross GA location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.
\n\nIn this role, you will impact the success of our engineering projects by providing technical expertise and guidance to the team. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n\n\tLead and coordinate a team of technicians to provide technical facilitation for product development and testing\n\tWork with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans\n\tTroubleshoot technical issues and provide technical expertise and guidance to the team\n\tEnsure the quality and reliability of our products\n\tLabVIEW Programming expertise and LabVIEW experience supporting unique tasks in the PLT1 Radiation Lab.\n\tExpertise in configuring and setting up Keysight Scopes, Power Supplies, and Function Generators in a lab environment.\n\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency\n\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

\n\n\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience as an engineering technician or a similar role\n\tStrong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies\n\tExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\n\n\nWE VALUE
\n\n\n\tSelf-motivated, capable of working independently, taking initiative, and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.\n\tExtensive lab experience supporting programs of varying complexity. The ability to analyze and present extensive data in a meaningful graphical form to Customers.\n\tHardware prototyping expertise, utilizing SuperPDF3 Lab and PLT4 Model Build Resources.\n\tFamiliarity supporting ASIC/FPGA designs and related lab tasks.\n\tExperience in guiding and coordinating a team of technicians\n\tKnowledge of engineering best practices and quality standards\n\tStrong dedication to safety, quality, and compliance\n\tExcellent communication and people-oriented skills\n\n\nABOUT HONEYWELL
