Lead Evaluation Expert

Overview:

The Evaluation Expert is the leader of evaluations commissioned as determined in the AWP unless sub-contracted. They will be responsible for leading the technical oversight of the design and implementation of all evaluations.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

They will work with the COR and other USAID technical staff and any evaluation teams sub-contracted to develop the methodologies necessary to meet the required deliverables. High standards of analytical, statistical, leadership, and emotional intelligence/skills are needed for this position.

 

Education and/or Experience:

Master's Degree in Social Sciences or related field 5 years of progressive experience in designing, implementing, managing, and analyzing the results of both performance and impact evaluations of development projects and activities 4 years of progressively responsible experience in project management of development programs 1 year of experience in Latin American social and cultural development context Fluency in spoken and written English is required and proficient in Spanish speaking and writing
