Make a Difference
Provide overall leadership and direction for assigned facilities design and construction projects and will utilize Community Hospital Health Network internal staff to assist in the day-to-day management.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
+ 2 years / associate degree: Graduation from an accredited university with a degree in construction, engineering, or related field and two years of progressively responsible experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities (Required)
+ 6+ years: At least six years of experience in engineering design and construction, including at least two years of experience in project management or a related field (Required)
+ Develop and maintain lines of communication among internal and external Project Team members to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
+ Lead and document project related meetings to ensure that project goals and objectives are met. Document all significant items requiring follow up or resolution.
+ Develop a Responsibility Matrix that clearly identifies the responsible party for each major work activity and updates as new members are added to the Project Team.
+ Develop a comprehensive Project Directory including all contact information for each team member and update as new members are added to the team.
+ Attending monthly Executive Leadership Meetings and making presentations regarding progress and critical issues requiring action.
+ Develop and distribute a monthly Project Status Summary containing design and planning progress, updated budget documentation, updated schedule documentation, and outstanding issues requiring executive action.
+ Develop a comprehensive listing of service providers that may be required during the project for review and approval by Community. The list of service providers will also include general scopes of service to be performed by the various service providers.
+ The service providers actually retained by the Community are referred to as the "Project Team". Required service providers for all phases of the program may include:
+ Medical Equipment Planner: Information Technology Planner. Materials Testing Services. Geotechnical Services. Traffic and Parking Consultant. Signage and Wayfinding Consultant. Transitional Move Management Planner. Hazardous Material Abatement. Demolition Services.
