We are seeking a Lead Field Install Technician

\n\n

The primary focus is to provide commissioning and service support for Honeywell’s Building Automation HVAC systems and security system.

\n\n

HBS installs, integrates and maintains the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy efficient. You will work with critical building management, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities. In this role you will help our Public Private Partnership facilities to us technology to improve productivity and increase the value of services provided to our many different customers

\n\n

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

\n\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\n\n\tWorking with sub-contractor and the customer to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of Honeywell Security and HVAC Systems.\n\tTroubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.\n\tPerform sensor verification and calibration.\n\tPublish commissioning reports for customers including Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.\n\tActively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.\n\tEscalation of any potential issues/delays related to scope/timeline and budget\n\tAbility to travel within Ontario (up to 20%)\n\n\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\n\tPost secondary diploma in a technical field\n\t3+ years electrical/security/instrumentation/HVAC controls experience\n\tFull class G drivers license\n\t1 + years of hands of experience with control systems and programmable controllers (PLC)\n\tAbility to acquire Secret (Level II) Federal Government clearances\n\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\n\n\tPrevious Commissioning or Construction experience\n\tAbility to work safely within the Honeywell/Customer HSE requirements.\n\t5 years of experience maintaining Security systems or Building Automation systems\n\tBe able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision\n\tCritical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems\n\tDesign/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired\n\tCapable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports\n\tAble to conduct formal meetings with customer management personnel\n\tPrevious customer service experience\n\t1+ year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience\n\n\n
