This role is primarily focused of providing finance support for Supply Chain operations for Wireline and Mobility.  This position will need to work closely with our operations leadership team and provide critical decision support.  This role provides comprehensive financial client support, manages the month-end close process, prepares and reviews journal entries to reclass and accrue expenses.  You will develop ad hoc analysis to support our clients and corporate finance consolidation teams, demonstrating a strong willingness understand the business by validating the accuracy and purpose of transactions. Responsibilities will include month-end reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic ad-hoc analysis.  

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious quick learner who is curious about our extensive Supply Chain operations and how Supply Chain impact AT&T’s results.  There are plenty of opportunities for thought leadership, process streamlining and automation, so a continuous improvement mindset is ideal.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting their findings and financial insights to VP leadership, showcasing excellent communication and presentation skills. Candidate will need a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset. Experience with Excel modelling, automation, and Power BI is preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis projects, works on problems of diverse scope including the analysis of financial reports, trend, and opportunities.Evaluates and makes recommendations relating to business opportunities, investments, financial regulations, and similar financial projects or programs. Gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information.Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial and other data.Develops recommendations to achieve the organizations financial objectives.Determines financial consequences of alternative methods, plans and strategies.Evaluates financial performance including cost or budget administration. Performs complex data modeling and financial analysis.

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
