Responsibilities

Ascension is seeking a Lead - Financial Integrity to join our accounting and reporting team, reporting to the Director - Financial Integrity. The responsibilities of this position are essential in helping to ensure the integrity of Ascension's consolidated financial statements, which are prepared and externally published on a quarterly basis, and subject to an annual external audit. Overarching responsibilities are as follows.

Support the financial integrity over financial reporting program, including risk assessments, quarterly attestations, and incident reporting.Support documentation, maintenance, communication and training on internal controlsProvide internal audit assistance where needed.Support the continuous monitoring analytics process, which includes journal entry compliance review and analytical review, in support of accounting best practices.Internal audit experience in a large organization.Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.Knowledge of the internal controls certification process under Sarbanes-Oxley Act is a plus.Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus.
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
