Your impact

Lead and coordinate financial processes, including STIP reviews, Investor Relations deliverables, and working capital analysis. Collaborate with partners to meet targets, facilitate multi-functional tasks, and provide ad hoc analysis. Train and refine team roles while ensuring quality control and reporting accuracy.
 

As part of our team you will Lead the STIP bonus process for all financial calculations, updates, and quality control.Plan and lead a STIP review for Financial results where key partners and HR review and sign off on allowable adj.Manage Investor Relations deliverables and analysis. Deliver quarterly trends, ad hoc calculations, and customer support.Coordinate the working capital analysis work stream by leading the overall facilitation, report building, and analysis to deliver valuable insights related to cash flow projections.Multi-functionality is key with this role and expectation is to support in Consolidation, Reporting, or other FP&A pillars if necessary.Ad hoc analysis is a large part of this role feeding various work streams within Finance.Collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis on reporting needsRole also leads an analyst and is key in training and refining this roleLead the BP.25 Sox control process and facilitate for Global control owners
 Prerequisites for success in this role Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required, Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g. CPA, CFA, CA) is a plus.Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, governance, and reportingExperience developing and managing financial modeling toolsExperience leading processes and managing a team with varied levels of experienceExperience with data analysis and reporting solutions/visualization tools and methodsExperience with enterprise financial modeling and target settingStrong cross-functional coordination in large global enterprises. Strong knowledge at working in data, defining trends, conveying operating and financial resultsStrong knowledge of financial statements, modeling, analysis, and ability to translate data into a storyAbility to communicate and work with upper-level management, peers, and varied levels within the organization.Competent leadership, team development, and training skillsAdvanced proficiency in stakeholder management and customer service/end-user supportStrong skills in process transformation and project managementCompetent with integrated planning processes across organizationsAdvanced knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis, budgeting, accounting and reportingCompetent with financial accounting principles and analysisStrong skillset in data retrieval from system financial reporting tools such as BPCAbility to analyze complex data and derive meaningful insights
 Your work environment This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Denver, CO.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $124,000 to 162,750. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
