The Cincinnati, OH site is a Center of Excellence for niche oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within the Pharma Services.

Formulation Technicians perform operations in manufacturing pharmaceutical products. They set up, operate, clean up, and maintain equipment in compliance with regulatory cGMP requirements and company policies.
A Day in the Life.
Provide and accurately follow production documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), batch production records, cleaning forms and procedures, and assembly forms and Work Instructions (WI).Lead Operations teams in production activities such as; disassembling, cleaning, and re-assembling equipment using basic hand tools to include mixers, extruders, dryers, tablet press, encapsulation, coating pans, printers, or tablet inspection machines.Work with SAP, Excel, Pharma suite, BI Launch Pad, Maximo, and other software programs to support manufacturing operations.Lead, mentor and support, and give feedback to manufacturing teams in the absence of production supervisors.Education.
High school diploma and equivalent experience is required.
Experience.
Required: Minimum of 4 years in similar role in manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Knowledgeable in a cGMP environment and excellent skills in analytical thinking.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities.
Mechanical proficiency and ability to disassemble and reassemble diverse types of equipment (GMP facility preferred)Advance reading comprehension and math skills are essential to follow sophisticated technical instructions and complete BPR calculations.Proven proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, and other software systems.Ability to maintain compliance in all SOP, cGMP, EHS, and other training curriculum as assigned.Physical Requirements / Work Environment.
Manipulate/handle materials, equipment, tools, up to 100 lbs, and lift containers weighing up to 40 lbs.Position requires wearing personal protective equipment to include white zone gowning requirements and several styles of respirators (1/2 face, 3-M hood, full face, and dust mask).Hand-scoop 5 lbs. intermittently throughout the workday.Operate a stand-up forklift and walkie stacker.What We Offer.
