Job Description We are looking for a passionate and well-rounded technologist to head our in-house Web & Mobile Framework for crafting and assembling the next generation costumer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Lead the mobile and web development practices by setting standards around how we work such as coding practices, architecture patterns, security, deployment, integration, testing and quality strategyDrive inner-sourcing practices within the organization.  Create a culture of collaboration where contribution is the default over consumptionPromote components contribution and reusability, organize tech-talks and training, setup leaderboards and “gamify” the entire inner-sourcing practice to create stickinessPartner with stakeholders from all levels within the business, product, design and technology.  Build trust and empathy by aligning technology with business objectivesStrategize framework adoption.  Campaign for consistency, reuse and standardizationCreate, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for new features, enhancements, and fixesSet team goals. Be a motivator.  Maintain a hands-on engineering approach towards mentoring and up-skillingContinuously improve self and teams to keep pace with new and emerging trends in technology

Required skills:

10+ years professional development experience. Proven track record in delivering customer-centric applicationsStrong communication to collaborate with stakeholders in all levels – (business, product, design, and development)Expertise in Native Mobile Development – Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, SwiftObsessed about code-quality and test automation i.e. linting, unit testing, functional testing, visual testing, contract testing.Hands on experience in at least two of the following JavaScript frameworksReactJSANGULAR (1.x or >2)VueJSEmberJSKnowledge and experience with CI/CD tools – Bamboo, Jenkins etcExperience with micro-services, micro-front ends, cloud computing, APIs, relational and non-relational database Ability to setup a team and define development processes from scratchLive and breathe Agile Practices throughout the Software Development Life CycleHands on experience with Extreme Programming (XP), TDD, and BDDExperience in Service Design, Product Design, UX Research, Customer Analytics a BIG plus
