This role is for a team lead that will operate as a member on one of the core teams responsible for building TransUnion’s OneTru Analytics platform

Big Data & Relational Database DesignLead an Agile team building analytics capabilitiesCollaborate with product owners and team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challengesMaintain and ensure availability and quality of systemsAssist in technology innovation activities such as research, evaluations, and prototypingPartner with business resources to troubleshoot issues, manage capacity, and plan for the optimization and expansion of environmentsTrain, coach and support users on environment, tools, data and services

Impact You'll Make:

Seven or more years of hands-on experience in a software development professionTwo or more years of hands-on experience leading technical teams and coaching resourcesProficiency in Java, SpringBoot, Spring, MVC architectureProficiency with machine learning and MLOps would be a plusProficiency working in a Linux-based environment, including shell scripting and basic system administrationExperience with Big Data tools, such as Hive and SparkExperience working on teams operating under an Agile Scrum delivery methodologyExperience working within CI/CD environments and a passion for automation and system qualityExcellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
