Job Summary:

The position is responsible for researching and qualifying potential customer leads for the JB Hunt Enterprise sales force. Analyzes transportation requirements and supply chain needs of prospective customers to determine a fit for the division's business model. Works closely with the Enterprise sales team to help determine areas of focus and customer needs.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct lead prospecting and qualification activities through the use of web-based tools, customer contact lists including outreach and verification, research and other outreach methods (e.g., telephone contact).Actively maintain customer information within the Market Research Center, and works within the CRM to test the process, manage internal processes, address issues, etc.Assist the Sales Development Representatives in determining the sales needs with each respective VP, ensuring an adequate number of sales leads and appointments with prospective customers.Provide other sales and marketing support as needed, such as marketing campaigns, email blasts, measuring campaign effectiveness, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years experience in sales, marketing, or similar.

Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experienceAbility to quickly learn a new software systemProficient time-management skillsSelf-motivatedAbility to multitaskBasic deductive reasoning skillsExperience in using tools and techniques for collecting, collating and analyzing information on existing or potential markets in order to meet market needsAbility to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organizationAbility to prepare formal recommendations for how the organization can meet the customer's needsKnowledge of existing and planned markets and market-related initiatives from the perspectives of the competition, the suppliers, the customer base and the regulatory environment.

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.  This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
