Overview TRC is looking for a Lead GIS Test Engineer to work within the customer success team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a new and exciting team and help chart the direction of the team for years to come. The ideal candidate will bring excellent problem-solving abilities, thorough knowledge of Esri technology and ArcGIS Enterprise administration, and be comfortable evaluating tools and defining processes that ensure the best possible customer experience with Locana software products. This position will be based in Hyderabad, India and will travel periodically to work with the customer success, development, and implementation teams. Responsibilities Documentation and prioritization of how customers actually use Locana software in production deployments. Translation of that information into manual checklist and automated UX tests that verify potential software releases. Maintaining Esri enterprise systems where relevant data (like Esri UN datasets, etc.) can be hosted for release/GA testing. Automating the transfer of content between ArcGIS Enterprise instances Automating the deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise via chef scripts Coordination with implementation and dev teams to ensure test harnesses maintains relevant coverage and to avoid duplication of effort. Aiding in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of software UX test harnesses that can automate as much of the release/GA testing as possible Where not possible to automate, to test the actual software with relevant host and connected devices and data under real-world conditions. Provide support for testing of future features and functions in Esri Enterprise software (beta functions, data model changes, etc.) Provide support for replicating user issues and generally coordinate with the Development Software QA team to ensure complimentary and complete testing. Help set up and facilitate performance and benchmark testing. Document and aid in publishing relevant findings and sharing with other TRC teams. Assist in management of Pre-sales ArcGIS Enterprise demo environments. Qualifications 7 years experience working with Esri technology in a professional environment 3+ years practical experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise implementations 2 years experience scripting the movement of Enterprise content between portals or scripting enterprise deployments with Chef Experience with deploying and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise within cloud deployments such as Azure.
