Job DescriptionThe Lead Global Application Owner is responsible for ensuring that the Orchestr8 (O8) system configurations are accurate and meet business requirements to help create a competitively advantaged supply chain for Fortune Brands Innovations. Responsibilities include partnering and collaborating effectively across all levels of Supply Chain globally to advance a center-led approach of governance and help achieve sustainable customer experience, cost and inventory productivity outcomes. Collectively, these activities will create value by capturing synergies, improving overall supply chain performance, and enabling business growth.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in North Olmsted, Ohio.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Gatekeeper of overall O8 configuration integrity. Responsible for ensuring that O8 system configurations are accurate and meet business requirements. The scope of this role includes the O8 Supply Planning and Demand Planning modules across FBIN and relevant parameters in the host ERP system.Owner of master configuration document. Responsible for keeping the master configuration document updated.First contact point for power-users, planners, and buffer managers for system configuration related questions. Also partner with O8 and FBIN IT to seek guidance and solve problems. Manage Jira tickets with internal and software teams.Provide governance oversight and expertise to buffer managers and planners related to various configurations. Oversee diagnosis of major issues, enabling users to be more self-sufficient.Develop and validate analytics products to advance business processes in collaboration with supply chain planning, supply chain analytics, software developers and software implementation teams. May include manager reports, buffer quality reports, configuration reports, etc.Deep dive specific problems to analyze and identify solutions that impact service levels and inventory. Provide feedback to members of the organization impacted by the problem to brainstorm and communicate the solution.Identify and execute continuous improvement analyses and actions in O8 including performing simulations to refine the master configuration for optimal service, inventory levels and maximized efficiency.Responsible for convening the Change Review Board, comprised of key supply chain leaders, when needed to seek approval for key recommended changes to the configuration. Also document the change, expected benefits and decision.Provide key configuration decision support to DDP implementation project team for various business units in FBIN. Lead buffer calculations, forward plan validation and master data validation for new implementations.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or other related field is required. (Master's Degree is preferred) Minimum of 10 years of supply chain planning experience in roles of increasing responsibility, including continuous improvement experience.Experience utilizing an ERP system (SAP or Oracle preferred) is required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with natural curiosity to investigate and validate data.Use functional expertise and experience to proficiently function in highly varied and complex situations that are non-routine in nature.Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience utilizing Orchestr8 (O8), DDMRP or other advanced planning software preferred.Previous experience in inventory modeling, master data management, supply chain systems, DDMRP buffer management, Lean/pull replenishment planning.SQL and database skills preferred.Supply Chain expertise gained through training, certification, and/or industry associations (e.g., APICS CSCP, Gartner Membership, edX courses, Demand Driven Institute - DDPP, DDLP, etc).Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $81,000 USD - $124,300 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
