We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Developer Technologies Engineer (Dev-Tech) to join our team and help us drive the next generation of GPU technologies. In this role, you will work closely with our GPU partners to optimize their use of our products, create innovative rendering prototypes, prepare technical demonstrations, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Partner Collaboration: Work with GPU partners to understand their needs and help them extract maximum performance and capability from our products, ensuring they get the most out of our technologies.Prototype Development: Design, implement, and evaluate new and exciting prototypes of rendering workloads that push the boundaries of graphical performance and innovation.Technical Demonstrations: Prepare and present technical demonstrations of new rendering techniques, highlighting the power of our GPU and associated technologies in real-world applications.Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow professionally and contribute effectively to the team’s objectives. Lead by example in developing high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and product management to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet both internal and external stakeholders’ needs.Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of experience in graphics programming, rendering techniques, or GPU driver development.Strong experience with Vulkan API and modern graphics technologies.Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and their integration with rendering workloads.Familiarity with Android development, particularly in relation to GPU acceleration and rendering.Proficient in C/C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design creative solutions for complex technical challenges.Deep understanding of GPU architectures, rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques.Experience with optimizing machine learning workloads on GPUs for high-performance computing.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Total Rewards
At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,557 and $305,414. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
