+ POSITION SUMMARY: + Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, provides groundskeeping , landscaping, and snow/ice removal services. Provides training and limited supervision to other groundskeeping staff. + QUALIFICATIONS: + EDUCATION: + Preferred: + High School diploma or equivalency. + LICENSE: + Minimum : + Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Motor Vehicle Policy + PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: + Minimum : + 3A and 7A NYS Pesticide certification. + WORK EXPERIENCE: + Minimum: + Prior experience in groundswork/landscaping and heavy equipment operation. + Preferred: + Previous lead groundskeeper experience. + SKILLS: + Minimum: + Demonstrated leadership abilities. + Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. + Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. + Salary Range: $19.68-$22.29
