Infosys Role Details – Lead – HR (JL 5)

Roles and Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding – Plans and monitors implementation of the location specific Induction and buddy program as defined, including graduate hiringEmployee Engagement – Plan and institutionalize a robust communication model across the Geo. Designing communication keeping local sensibilities in mind is a key focus area. Design and Deploy engagement processes, initiatives, and events across the Geo. Analyze feedback from the ground (employee pulse) to identify focus areas and design and implement initiatives around themEmployee Development – Designs and drives employee development initiatives such as high-performer development, succession planning, promotions/progressions etc. to align with business outcomes. Monitors the effectiveness and brings improvements to the process. Understand business requirements and partner with corporate training to create and customize training programsCompensation and Benefits –Provide inputs to COEs for policy formulation and revisions. Design and customize policy proposals keeping Geo realities in mind. Manage the roll out and fall out of key C&B programs like Compensation Review Programs, Bonus Payout programs etc. Performance Management Programs – Customize Performance Management activities and guidelines to suit ESAT, retention and development needs of the Geo. Manage the roll out and fallout of Performance Management programs in the Geo. Manage consequences of poor performanceRewards and Recognition – Manage the rollout of R&R initiatives across the GeoAudits and Compliance – Monitor the employee management process within the Geo to ensure adherence to various National and International labor laws in the region. Participate in Geo level audits and play a key role in taking corrective action wherever requiredAnalytics and Reporting – Create and report key HR related metrics for the Geo. Reports and Dashboards to be presented to Business and key HR stakeholders that focus on HR statistics, HR issues, opportunities, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. Employee Grievance Handling and Disciplinary processes – Manage the grievance handling frameworks of the company in the Geo. Grievance related cases to be closed as per defined SLAs. Initiate and manage disciplinary processes and investigations wherever required and ensure that the processes are carried out in line with company and legislative guidelines.Government Relations – Be the point of contact and representative of the company in transactions and communications with Government Bodies, departments, and representatives in HR related matters as required. Ensure that all mandatory government reporting is completed within the stipulated timelines
Requirements:At least 5 years of HR generalist experienceExposure to work in fast paced, multinational corporations with complex matrix style management structuresThe ideal candidate should have experience in managing HR programs and processes primarily for employees in JapanBoth Japanese and English language proficiency (written and spoken) is a mustStrong HR domain knowledge and experience across the complete employee lifecycleKnowledge of business processes involved in the companies in the technology sectorAble to look at data from multiple sources and integrates data/inputs in a manner to develop cause /effect linkages and arrive at key insightsSelf-starter with strong analytical skills and result oriented mindset, be able to handle complex issues independently and possess an ability to get things done.The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of tolerance to ambiguityStrong team player work ethic in client management model, partnering with teammates and integrating tools and processes required to meet the needs of business and engage with all levels within the organization
