What is the job about?
The Lead HR Compliance Specialist is a short term assignment position, intended initially for 1 year, which is responsible to develop, manage and coordinate all HR activities related to secure that global HR policies, processes, systems, and tools, with an impact at Group or Regional level, are compliant to internal and external requirements. The Lead Compliance Specialist proactively supports HR Process Owners and HR professionals in all internal and external compliance matters.
The position comes with a fixed term contract of up to 18 months.
Your main responsibilities:
• Working independently and with limited supervision, the key accountabilities / responsibilities for the Lead HR Compliance Specialist are:
• Guide and support Process Owners so global HR processes along the employee lifecycle (such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Recruitment, Training, Payroll or Reporting and Data Quality) are developed, managed, and administered in full compliance to the increased internal and external demands, particularly the ones coming from GDPR, CSRD or ISO27001.
• Oversee, coach and review design, implementation and delivery of global HR processes, programs, and policies with an impact on Grundfos ability to comply with external and internal regulations and policies.
• Evaluate, describe, and recommend solutions to improve HR processes and systems to support internal and external demands related to Compliance, and at the same time, secure that the HR processes and systems also provide an amazing employee experience and drive for simplicity and speed.
• Act as the “go to person” for external and internal stakeholders related to compliance on global HR processes (External auditors, Finance, Internal Control…), offering HR expertise support to influence business decisions.
• In the same way, act as the “go to person” for process owners and product teams in HR, offering compliance expertise support to design, improve or implement HR processes and systems in a compliant way.
• Lead strategic projects related to implement new Compliance requirements into HR policies, processes, systems, and tools.
• Safeguarding and enabling the business by ensuring processes and data handling are aligned with governance policies, procedures, and legislation: % Internal Audit Ratings with score on 3-(internal audits related to onboarding, offboarding, data, recruitment, and payroll processes).
• ISO 27000: support the ISO 27000 certification from an HR perspective and the implementation of changes required in the different processes (onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, reporting…)
• Globalize, Standardize and Centralize HR process at Country level: Review existing HR processes in each country, aiming at simplifying, standardizing (at country or global level) and centralizing whenever possible.
• HR database system for the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements and standards.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience (6-7 years)
• Strong knowledge and proven experience with HR policies, processes, and systems along the employee lifecycle, particularly in Onboarding, Offboarding, Recruitment, Training, Payroll, Reporting and Data Quality, among others.
• Strong background executing complex or specialized projects and activities in HR.
• Proven results supporting key initiatives in a large organization; experience in large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• GDPR, CSRD, ISO 27001 savvy is desired.
