Lead HR Representative – MPT (Medical Products & Therapies)

Your Role:

Support the HR strategy for the business, through serving as an HR advisor, partnering with key stakeholders, and delivering high-quality HR initiatives and processes to the business. 

Support and partner with HR colleagues across geographies, partnering with and providing consultative support to senior management and employee population with an emphasis on local site leadership.   

Significant focus on integration, culture, organizational design, development, and change management; incumbent should be well versed in these principles.

Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (e.g., talent review & planning, annual compensation review, performance management, listening mechanisms). 

What You'll Be Doing:

Drive HR initiatives that support business strategies.

Provide Talent Management & Development support for key talent strategies within the MPT organization.

Partner with key stakeholders both within and across respective businesses.

Partner with Managers and Employees to cultivate best place to work culture.

Engage with functional COEs to champion and implement enterprise-wide processes.

Provide mentorship and support to Managers around key hiring and headcount related activities.

Advise leaders and employees through employee relations matters (e.g., performance management; relationship management).

Drive and support talent management initiatives with ability to represent talent cross-functionally.

Support manager efficiency actions, mentor, and monthly A.C.E check-ins.

Lead annual compensation activities.

Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies, and processes (e.g., ongoing coordination with COEs on initiatives and communications).

Support employees and managers, as needed, regarding HR matters (e.g., employee relations, topics escalated beyond HR Central). 

Partner and liaise with functional COE members to resolve HR matters.

Point liaison regarding HR operations matters (e.g., processing HR actions, drafting content, off-boarding processes).

Point liaison to lead employee-related data (e.g., extract data reports, apply foundational analysis, crbuildata files).

Lead various employee data audits (e.g., funding entity, training courses).

Maintain measurement systems and analyze data to figure out the impact of HR programs. Makes recommendations to management based upon analysis.

Work independently to resolve straightforward HR matters. As well as help resolve moderately complex HR matters.

Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies and processes

Escalate HR matters to respective HR team members, as needed.

What You'll Bring:

Minimum 3 years of progressive global HR professional experience required, prefer in an HR generalist/ business partner role in a large Fortune 500 Company.

Solid knowledge of HR management components including employee relations, performance management, development, compensation, culture and engagement, change management, organizational design, and inclusion & diversity.

Foundational skills and proficiency in the following areas: ability to persuade and influence effectively at multiple levels of an organization, strong teamwork and proven skills communicating effectively.

Strong project and process management skills, and strong consulting skills.

Strong HR process orientation, paired with a flexible mindset understanding not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Ability to work with Leadership Team members and employees working from a variety of locations (field, corporate, global).

Able to pull analyses together and make recommendations.

Incumbent should possess business savvy and high degrees of both business and financial acumen.

High proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office and HR Systems (e.g., WorkDay and Kronos) and Excel reporting.

Ability to drive operational excellence, support multiple team members, and promote teamwork.

Effective communications, both written and oral.

Disciplined in work approach and execution of responsibilities.

Ability to learn, adapt, prioritize, and succeed in a face-paced environment.

Strong technology application and analytical skills.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000.00 to $132,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
