Lead HVAC Technician
Job Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Shifts: Mon-Fri; 6:00am to 4:00pm - Overtime available
Location: Holbrook, AZ
Pay Range: $30-$40/hr. based on experience and qualifications
Who You Are:
You’re a seasoned HVAC professional with a deep understanding of refrigeration theory, control systems, and pipe fitting. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working on diverse projects, from preventative maintenance to complex system repairs. With your strong technical skills and dedication to safety, you’re ready to play a key role in keeping our cannabis cultivation facility running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to assess needs, review building layouts, and ensure smooth installations or repairs. Use advanced tools and software to diagnose, repair, and optimize HVAC units, following blueprints and engineering specs. Maintain a safe work environment while managing tools and equipment with accountability. Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to overtime and occasional overnight work as business needs arise.What You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 10 years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC systems. An EPA 608 Universal certification. Strong technical skills to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, procedures, and regulations. Excellent troubleshooting abilities and the capability to communicate repairs clearly. Proficiency in CMMS software for tracking work orders, data, and inventory.Even Better If:
You’re experienced with Building Management Systems (BMS). You have a background in VFD installation, troubleshooting, and programming. You’re familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite.Physical Requirement:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on a consistent basis throughout the assigned shift Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to climb ladders and crawl under low spaces Ability to lift and reach with arms above shoulder heigh for extended periods of time Ability to work in an environment that is exposed to plant materials and strong odors While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Outdoor environmental conditions may be hot, cold, rain, snow or other natural weather phenomena.
