Job Overview:

We are seeking a D365 F&O Data Migration Consultant with strong experience in planning and executing end-to-end data migration projects. The ideal candidate should be skilled in data analysis, mapping, and reconciliation and should be able to work closely with business users and technical teams to ensure successful data transitions into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyse business requirements related to data migration. Prepare and execute comprehensive data migration plans, identifying potential risks, key milestones, and validation checkpoints. Conduct source system data analysis and manage source-to-target data mapping aligned with D365 F&O structures. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) using appropriate tools and scripts. Implement robust audit, reconciliation, and exception reporting processes for migrated data. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data readiness and quality standards for successful migration. Document and obtain signoffs on migration activities and deliverables.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

5–8 years of experience in data migration projects, preferably involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Strong expertise in data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques. Familiarity with D365 Data Management Framework (DMF) and related tools. Proficient in SQL and data transformation scripting. Experience working with large datasets from legacy systems, ERP, or other enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of finance and operations modules and associated data structures. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have:

Experience in migration automation using tools like KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, or Power Platform. Exposure to master data management (MDM) and data governance practices. Microsoft Dynamics certifications related to F&O or Data Management
