Job Title: Lead I - Product Design - Design Strategist
Overview:
Lead Product Design is responsible for designing and developing human-centered digital products with a focus on ease of use, interaction, and visual design, ensuring a delightful customer experience. The role involves collaboration with business, technology, and product teams to translate product vision into tangible design propositions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop user personas using research findings and integrate them into deliverables such as customer journeys, empathy maps, opportunity maps, and service blueprints.
- Define user experiences across various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, kiosks, games, and wearables.
- Create screen layouts that align with brand guidelines and reinforce the brand’s style and voice.
- Design interaction models, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready applications.
- Conduct design reviews and approvals to ensure alignment with user expectations and usability standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, and other designers.
- Ensure design directions align with stakeholder business goals, expectations, and budgets.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Set OKRs and success criteria for personal goals and provide feedback to team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Visual Communication, New Media Design, Universal Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in digital design disciplines.
- Expertise in usability, with a strong background in planning and delivering UX engagements in collaboration with business and technology teams.
- Solid foundation in color, typography, screen layout, and visual design, including visual transitions, micro-animation, motion design, and dynamic interactions.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience designing for various products/platforms and managing multiple complex design problems simultaneously.
- Understanding of web design and front-end development challenges, including usability, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Experience in building Design Language Systems for product design and technology teams.
- Excellent visual communication, presentation, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- A compelling design portfolio showcasing exemplary work is required.
