Lead I - Software Engineering

Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities

Outcomes:

     Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications.      Code debug test document and communicate product/component/feature development stages.      Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution      Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions      Optimises efficiency cost and quality.      Influence and improve customer satisfaction Set FAST goals for self/team; provide feedback to FAST goals of team members

Additional Comments:

• Work with an international multi-disciplinary team of engineers to ensure that software products deliver business value, have high quality, and contain a minimal of technical debt. • Participate in coding efforts within a project team. Clearly communicate actionable information to the project team. • Perform code reviews, set code quality standards. • Develop and document software designs that emphasize usefulness/usability, stability, performance, and reusability. • Work on all facets of software development - designing, developing, automating test cases and deployment pipeline. • Assist with advanced debugging efforts within the project team when production and development issues arise. • Continuously stay current on market trends and new technologies that can affect how we approach our solutions. • Establish and uphold firm expectations and ensure that deliverables are self-certified prior to transitioning to the downstream consumers of the deliverable (QA and customers). Required skills: • 8 - 10 years of experience with Java (preferably v17), spring boot 3.x, multi-layered web applications, REST, microservices, databases like PostgreSQL or other. • 4+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular framework (preferably v13) • Hands on experience creating Unit and integration test. • Experience with tools like Checkstyle, SonarQube, Blackduck • Experience in Cloud Architecture (AWS) and containerized solutions like Docker or Kubernetes • Experience working within an Agile environment (SCRUM, SAFe). • Good communication (English) and social skills. • Experience in automating test cases and deployment pipeline will be a plus • Experience working with Azure active directory as authorization server, authentication/ authorization framework & protocols such as Oauth2, OIDC, LDAP, SAML etc. is a plus. Skill set - • Java 17, Spring boot 3.0.x, REST, Docker, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Angular 13+, AWS cloud • Integration experience with Azure directory will be a plus
