Lead I - Software Engineering

Role Proficiency:

Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions account for others' developmental activities

Outcomes:

Job Position: Java Developer Model Control System (MCS) is used to manage firm-wide inventory of models by front-office, finance, operations, control, and oversight functions It is the central repository for storing, model meta-data, documentation, and implements model workflows in accordance with The Firrn Global Model Risk Management Policy. The team supports cross divisional business areas with high visibility and oversight from both internal risk management and external regulatory authorities across the globe. To support significant growth in business functionality and support changing regulatory environment, including implementing new global policy frameworks such as Al/ML/GenAL model framework, MC5 ls undergoing significant modernization using latest technology stack. The new technology platform being bullt needs to support model inventory management, workflows, event management, Model Usage, Model documentation, GenALintegration, analytics, and reporting We are looking for highly motivated individual with hands-on Java development experience, to support building the hew Model management platform. Technology stack iricludes a wide range of proprietary and open-source technologies including REST API, Workflow and Rule Engine technologies, scalable big-data platforms, No-Sal databases, UI- React)S/Redux and reporting tools. The candidate needs to be able to understand distributed systems architecture, be a team player with effective communication skills and passionate about progr amming in a distributed, event-driven pub/sub environment using Core Java, and Python.
