Lead I - Workplace Management

Role Proficiency:

Lead the team in managing and handling the entire or specific Workplace Management function/initiative across the organization. Handling 500 to 700 employees independently of the centre with more than 50000 Sft

Outcomes:

 Work with higher levels of independence in planning and carrying out own work. Work within a subsystem and guide team members.  Provide support to leadership in functional decision making  Provides Management and Operations Reports and KPIS to be aggregated by the Operations Lead  Support the Engineering team for installation of new equipment  Be available on the phone to handle queries and ensure resolution  May have to relocate as required by the job Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Plan facilities organizational structure to accommodate growth and change in priorities. Determine needs for equipment leases
purchases and services. Negotiate contracts with vendors and maintains vendor relationship Ensure projects meet specifications and budgets. May act as liaison to leasing and property management organizations and planning commissions. Ensure necessary licenses and permits are obtained. Ensure adequate facilities
equipment and furnishings are available and properly maintained. May oversee physical security function at assigned location(s) to provide a safe work environment while protecting company and client assets. Research costs for various projects including labour and materials; reports findings to senior management for approval. Ensure inspections are conducted to verify facility is in safe operating condition and to correct any issues found. Oversee and performs work in accordance with local and national building and maintenance codes and must stay up-to-date on changes to these codes. Other related duties assigned as needed.
