Lead II - Lab Support

Role Proficiency:

Independently handle Lab Management. Acts creatively to optimise process efficiency and improve quality of deliverables. Accounts for others developmental activities and assists Project Manager in day to day operations

Outcomes:

     Perform Stake Holder Management for the group.      Represent team on functional and technical issues to both client and team members.      Interact with Project Managers and Client Stake holders on technical or functional Issues.      Provide input for preparation of Capex (Capital) / Opex (Operational) budgets      Work with facility team for Lab setup arrangements      Ensure active participation in Lab owners forum.      Work closely with client towards issue closure Ensure enhanced utilization and upkeep of Lab assets.      Ensure 100% Compliance on HVI Lab Network Security Lab CW      Ensure 6S Implementation for Lab   Enhance opportunity to use I- Lab.   Enable planning ordering and tracking of Lab Assets and support logistics from customs perspective   Perform orientation of new team members.   Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met   Mentor team members to effectively perform in their roles Set FAST Goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees

Measures of Outcomes:

     Adherence to lab process and standards (lab standards)      Adherence to schedule and timelines      Adhere to SLAs      Reduction of reoccurrence of handling errors as per SLA      Comply with defined productivity standards for lab process Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Support Project Manager in task deliverables with quality

effort and resources for one's own work and for others' work.


Document:

Create documentation for own work as well as perform peer review of documentation of others' work


Inventory Management:

Design and implement lab/inventory tracking system to optimize Lab inventory control procedures. Examine the levels of supplies and material availability to determine shortages. Analyse different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals when and where applicable


Safety:

Work with Security and Safety teams for defining the lab Safety and security standards


Manage Team:

Set FAST goals and provide feedback Understand aspirations of their team members and provide guidance

etc. Ensure team members are upskilled Ensure team is engaged in project Proactively identify attrition risks and work with BSE for retention measures


Manage knowledge:

Consume and contribute to lab related documents
share point and client universities. Review the reusable documents created by the team
