Lead II - UX Design

Role Proficiency:

Independently design innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize user needs in two or more platforms. Mentor the senior designers on the team

Outcomes:

      Take ideas and concepts and visualize them in such that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders partners and customers       Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite complexity of the system       Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions UI specifications wireframes and visual designs.       Function as part of a cross-functional design team and employ a user-centric design methodology to develop new and derivative user interface designs for web and mobile applications.        Collaborate effectively with other designers UI Architect Product management and Development team.       Mentor and support multiple teams       Works on multiple moderate to complex projects/tasks.       Leads collaboration with business development research and prototyping and product management to define the next generations of business concepts and solutions       Collects reviews and may assist in refining client requirements.   Communicates analysis recommendations and potential design solutions verbally and through documentation to the project team and key stakeholders including product managers visual designers and other UX and Design team members.   Ensures the team stays on top of new trends in usability.   Researches best practices in Web Desktop and Mobile application design.   Ensures team adheres to standards and processes.   Ensures team collects UX metrics to measure and tracks the impact of design changes on user experience.   Ensure capability development in area of expertise (training the team)

User Research:

Additional Comments:

Sr. UX Design - Product Design, will be responsible to iteratively strategize, conceptualize, design and validate customer experience propositions, through delightful design-led experiences solving real world wicked problems. Responsibilities: • Define the UX roadmap for any small, medium, large project / program • Conduct Design Thinking workshops with various stakeholders to arrive at common Experience goals and plans • Define tasks for junior designers and collaborate with Product Managers and Owners • Lead customer research, contextual enquiry, market research, product benchmarking brand insights etc. and develop personas, customer journeys and design guidelines • Drive customer presentations and reviews independently for tangible outcomes • Lead development of user personas based on customer research findings, and integrate personas within deliverables such as customer journeys, empathy maps, opportunity maps etc. • Drive the development of intended customer journeys that describe key aspects of a proposed experience, and how it resolves customer hassles and pain points • Design and coding of low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes, MVP beta, and production-ready applications by designing user interface elements, UX specifications, and design systems and standards. • Perform design reviews and approvals of proposed design and product revisions for desirability, and alignment with user expectations and usability standards • Lead participatory design user testing sessions and present findings and recommendations to cross functional teams and business stakeholders • Responsible for the definition of product features through high-touch user research methods and techniques • Practice design alongside multidisciplinary teams, including product engineers, product managers and business stakeholders and other designers • Ensure that the Product Design directions are in alignment with stakeholder business goals, expectations and budget Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s degree with 8 + years of experience, in a digital design-related discipline: Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Strategic Design Management, Product Design, New Media Design or Universal design • Experience in a digital design-related disciplines: Strategic Design Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Service Design, New Media Design, Storytelling, and Universal design • Extensive experience in Usability domain with strong expertise in Strategizing, Planning and Delivering multiple large UX engagements, in collaboration with Business and Technology teams. • Demonstrated thought leadership and design advocacy in the Product Design with expertise in full spectrum of Digital User experience design process. • Good knowledge of User research methodologies including Stakeholder Interviews, Contextual Enquiry, Co-creation workshops, Customer Journey Mapping, Design Sprints etc. • Hands-on experience in envisioning and designing for Products /platforms, working simultaneously on multiple complex design problems • Qualification or certifications in related fields such as Interaction Design, New media design, Architecture, Graphic Design or Human Factors area • Experience in User Validation and Evaluation techniques including Heuristic Evaluation, Usability / Accessibility Testing, Eye Tracking etc. • Experience in building Design Language Systems for use within product design and technology teams • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills, with attention to detail • Hands-on experience on prototyping tool such as Sketch, XD, Axure, InvisionApp, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc • A Design portfolio showcasing your best of work is mandatory.
