Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified Lead IMS Auditor with IRCA Certification and proven external audit experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and execute audits in accordance with ISO 17021-1 standards and Bureau Veritas protocols, ensuring clients meet and exceed certification requirements across multiple management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Leadership & Execution:
Lead and manage all phases of external audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up. Ensure full compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and internal Bureau Veritas procedures. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during audits, ensuring transparency and professionalism.
Team Coordination:
Serve as the Lead Auditor on multi-disciplinary audit teams. Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure team alignment with audit objectives. Conduct opening and closing meetings, clearly communicating findings and next steps.
Client Engagement:
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients throughout the audit lifecycle. Address changes in audit scope and resolve discrepancies or conflicts during audits. Provide expert recommendations to support certification decisions.
Post-Audit Activities:
Prepare and submit detailed, accurate audit reports within defined timelines. Review and evaluate client corrective actions, offering constructive feedback. Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and future audit planning.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in internal and external audits, training, and calibration sessions. Support global and local initiatives related to competency development and quality assurance.
What Success Looks Like:
Timely and accurate submission of audit documentation. High client satisfaction and minimal nonconformity recurrence. Consistent adherence to performance metrics and certification timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience with a strong background in external auditing.
Certifications:
IRCA Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (mandatory). Additional ISO certifications are advantageous.
Core Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and project management capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and local language(s).
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in audit report writing and data interpretation. Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.
