As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nAssists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of distribution center material handling equipment\nTakes the role of the Site Supervisor on days required\nCan assist in the development of specific technical and training documentation\nAnalyzes and troubleshoots reoccurring issues and creates an action plan/RAIL to support the change\nCompletes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures in a timely manner.\nDiagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop)\nFollow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.\nOperates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment\nUtilizes TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool\nPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to safety and quality procedures\nTroubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious\nProvides resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues; documents all information relating to customer support issues in CMMS and Dashboard database; utilizes resources in other departments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related issues\nProvides information to the Customer Service Department and other members of management to enhance Customer Service success\n\n

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

\n\nThe ability to lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds as a two-person team, \nThe ability to work above your head for extended period of time while standing, laying, or seated (e.g., 30mins).  The ability to lift weights listed above your head. \nThe ability to move safely in confined spaces which may require crawling on hands and knees. \nThe ability to safely climb / descend / work on ladders and stairs frequently. \n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n4+ years of relevant experience in Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance/installation.\nStrong technical expertise in Industrial Automation technologies.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.\nAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong customer focus and relationship-building skills.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\n
