Lead Infrastructure Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled infrastructure automation developer with a strong focus Server Maintenance, the ideal candidate will need to design, develop and implement automation solutions to streamline and enhance our automation capabilities.


In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goalsReview and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the futureDesign, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendorsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesMake decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirementsDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successRecommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve resultsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with customer and vendor


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2 + years of experience in Ansible infrastructure automation tool2+ years of knowledge of Test-Driven Development, CI/CD pipelines, and other modern code and release patterns (Git or GitHub Enterprise)2 + years of experience with various Operating System Platforms including RedHat Linux and MS Windows2 + years of experience with scripting languages with one or more of these enabling technologies: Python, Kafka, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages


Desired Qualifications:

Working Experience in Server Automation tools like Ansible/Terraform/Puppet or other orchestration tools.Experience in developing and troubleshooting automation code in Python, Unix shell, VBS, Java or similar.Complete automation life cycle experience from identifying need for automation to successful implementationUndergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.Good understanding of ITIL,SDLC/,Agile processes.Familiar with Cloud Infrastructures and applications

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
