The Role

Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions? Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs. 

Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Not only will you help keep our customer’s networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation, conduct project planning and cost analysis, and build proof-of-concept solutions with networking system technology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate them accurately to the team, and ensure they are appropriately fulfilled. You will use your expertise to design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP, that address customer requirements. You will also provide high-quality technical solutions to our customers to prepare them for implementation, go-live, and maintenance.

Overall Responsibilities: 

Work as a Team Lead for Network and Security operations.

Network SME/L3 – Expertise in various network OEM devices like Cisco, HP, and firewalls like Fortinet and Palo Alto.

Manage and support technologies including Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and firewalls.

Ensure 100% uptime of client security devices.

Prepare weekly, monthly availability, and performance reports for the client.

Provide root cause analysis (RCA) of outages.

Upgrade firmware/software of network security devices.

Handle End-of-Life hardware upgrades for head-end and remote-end devices while maintaining up-to-date asset management.

Demonstrate sound knowledge of ITIL processes, including Ops Management, Change Management, and Incident/Problem Management.

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring adherence to critical SLAs through coordination with OEM Support Centers, TAC, etc., for effective closure and RCA.

Facilitate user coordination, vendor coordination, and client interaction while owning incident resolution and POA submission.

Integrate network and security devices with SIEM and analyze logs to troubleshoot issues quickly.

Ensure timely resolution of calls/incidents related to security issues within defined timelines.

Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access.

Regularly patch all provisioned network and security devices.

Perform security operations tasks like configuration, IP assignment, monitoring, firmware upgrades, and firewall policy fine-tuning.

Handle fault management and escalation (identify and respond to faults on security devices).

Liaise with third-party suppliers and vendors to handle escalations through to resolution.

Create and maintain blueprint documents for NOC & SOC, covering processes and procedures.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise :

Candidates should have at least -8-12 years of experience working in Network Operations especially on the HP devices, Cisco ACI, Cisco SDA, ISE , Load Balancers , Cisco Wireless  and the Security operations like Cisco FTD Firewalls, FortiGate and Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco WSA Proxy.

Hands-on experience on HP, Cisco ACI, Cisco APIC, Cisco SDA, DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC, Routing and Switching.

Hands on experience on Fortigate and Palo Alto Firewall.

Security Technology – WAF/DDOS Monitoring and Troubleshooting.

Preparing weekly, monthly reports. Incident reporting and Analysis

Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices.

Performs security hardware and software maintenance.

Create and maintain detailed network documentation, Network Diagrams and procedures.

Strong verbal and written English communication.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision.

Willingness to work in a job that involves 24/7 operations.

Configuring and Managing User defined categories, Whitelisted URLs, Blacklisted URLs and

Experience on the Process like Change Management, Asset Management, Configuration Management, Security Health Checks, Basic Hygiene, Audit Compliances etc…

Implementing a CHANGE for changes in terms of policies which effects users.

Good Knowledge in Networking concepts, AD, LDAP

Work with product vendor for upgrade and issue resolution

Participate in day-to-day maintenance activities.

Should have good Knowledge and understanding of the following concepts and technologies: SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, AV, DLP, NAC, HIPS, 2FA, CA etc.

Candidate should have a valid Indian passport



Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :

Graduate in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering or equivalent University degree.

Certifications desired: CCNP or equivalent certification.
