Job Title: Lead Installer
Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Installer with 3-5 years of experience working on construction job sites, both residential and commercial. This role involves physical labor, welding, rudimentary wiring, field measurements, driving a company vehicle, interacting with the head of installations, interfacing with customers from time to time, and leading a crew.

ResponsibilitiesFabricate and install wrought iron, both functional and decorative.Stick-weld iron in the field, including welding blocks and hinges to posts.Make field measurements to adjust dimensions and fittings on-site.Fabricate custom components to accommodate variances in grade, angle, and position of gate hardware and infrastructure.Perform grinding, polishing, and cold-galvanizing of steel.Install gates, doors, fences, hinges, brackets, stops, and other related hardware.Supervise a field crew, maximizing productivity and providing training and mentoring.Interact professionally with customers.Operate a forklift for loading/unloading materials like steel, gates, fences, cement, and more.Operate a portable crane/lift for transporting and installing heavy fixtures like iron and wood gates, railings, and more.Hand-dig trenches and post holes, and set large steel posts in concrete.Apply quickset concrete in the field.Perform touch-up painting of gates and posts in the field.Essential SkillsExperience fabricating and installing wrought iron.Proficiency in Stick-welding iron in the field.Ability to fabricate custom components on-site.Experience with grinding, polishing, and cold-galvanizing steel.Proficient in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.Experience operating a forklift and portable crane/lift.Experience with carpentry and trenching equipment.Proficiency in hand-digging post holes and setting posts in concrete.Knowledge of quickset concrete applications.Experience with touch-up painting in the field.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 10 or 30 certification.Proficiency in operating hand tools.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Customer-facing skills.Experience in supervising and mentoring a field crew.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The typical work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The role requires passing a DOT screening for driving non-class C vehicles. Our work environment includes both residential and commercial job sites with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56100.00 - $73000.00/yr.

2 weeks vacation, sick time, health insurance, 401K, discretionary bonus are standard benefits.
