The Opportunity

As a Lead Integration Architect, you will plan, design, develop, and oversee all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and 3rd party solutions. You will provide technical expertise and leadership, providing mentoring and code reviews for a team of developers while you manage day-to-day coordination related to driving the delivery of integration services. Valvoline is looking for someone who will set architectural standards and play a key role in defining the overall integration strategy to align with business objectives.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Lead and manage the integration development team, ensuring the team’s effectiveness in supporting objectives and operations. Includes, but not limited to:Support business partners in day-to-day process/system issuesSupport interfaces with other internal or external systems and partnersAfter-hours and on-call support for interfaces and batch jobsCoordinate with third parties on changes to ensure that system components are fully compliantCollaborate with business partners on continuous improvement initiatives to improve process issues or meet new business requirementsDesign, architect, and develop complex integration solutions, including API design, data mapping, and message flow for various systems.Develop and maintain the enterprise integration architecture blueprint, including standards, patterns, and best practices for data exchange and system integration.Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3rd party services providerProvide technical guidance and mentorship to developers on integration projectsLead integration teams, overseeing design, development, implementation, testing, and deployment phasesAnalyze existing solutions and identify opportunities for improvement

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree with course-work in computer science, information management, or a related field8 years experience in enterprise integration development2 years experience with SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP Cloud Platform Integration)2 years experience as a lead integration architectSAP S4/HANA, SAP Retail Industry, SAP API Management experienceStrong knowledge of enterprise architectural principles and experience designing resilient integration flowsProficiency in programming languages relevant to integration development: Groovy and Javascript minimumExcellent Leadership, Management, and 3rd-party relationship building skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilityCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of organization and convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesProject management skills (multitasking, prioritization, etc.)Preferred: SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Integration SuiteMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
