About this role

This leading design firm is seeking a skilled Interior Technician/Documenter to become a key member of their acclaimed team. This role bridges both Interior Design and Architectural disciplines, focusing on managing interior documentation for large-scale residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. You will work closely with the Architectural team to align documentation with broader project goals and collaborate with a dedicated team of designers on a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and uphold project design strategies throughout all stages of the project. Create, edit, and maintain documentation for various project types, including interior joinery and details. Assist the project team during the Construction Phase, handling tasks such as RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, documentation updates, and site visits. Coordinate documentation efforts with both internal and external consultants. Communicate effectively with the project team to identify and address project challenges and opportunities, including technical detailing and documentation solutions. Develop design option representations for team discussions as needed. Apply relevant regulatory and authority controls as required. Stay informed about internal standards and contribute to their development with the team. Support the Interior Design team in understanding documentation practices and REVIT usage.

Skills and Experience:

Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or Computational Design. Advanced proficiency in REVIT. 5+ years of relevant documentation experience. Excellent communication skills.
