JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist is an experienced technologist competent in a variety of routine & complex procedures.  This position is a member of the direct patient care & imaging leadership team.  This position is a member of the direct patient care & imaging leadership team.

 

The Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist serves under the direction of the imaging Manager/Sr. Manager and/or Director and is expected to function with initiative and creativity with the objective of department efficiency and technical excellence and safety. This position must demonstrate the ability to rely on experience to initiate proper judgment, manage multiple tasks, and engage as a department leader within a limited supervised environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Associates of Applied Science Graduate of an accredited radiology program 5+ years of experience

 

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R) American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-VI) or American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-CV) Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT) American Heart Association (BLS and PALS)
