Under the direction of the Supervisor, Beverage Control, the Lead Inventory Control position is responsible for accurate and efficient inventory control of all Food & Beverage products that supply the Food & Beverage Department venues. The Lead Inventory Control position will also be responsible for: maintaining & stocking Food & Beverage and alcohol related inventory within the department & at various Yaamava’ venues. Other responsibilities include guiding & training the Beverage Control Clerk team members in the performance of their job duties & Eatec usage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages the delivery and warehousing of Food & Beverage products from vendors & Service Center, for the service of multiple venues - including the handling and transportation of single items with value of, and up, to 200k. 2. Verifies and maintains an accurate & efficient inventory of Food & Beverage products and supplies. Monitors products and supplies to ensure quantity is accurate and quality meets established standards & specifications. Reviews entertainment event requests with Management & fills requisitions, specific to requests, for specials and riders. Receives items requested for artists & entourage for weekly entertainment and/or specialty events on property.3. Reviews, maintains and submits records of all paperwork required by accounting. Regularly verifies and performs transfers & inventories as an accountability measure. Performs monthly physical inventory on the first of every month of products. Investigates inventory variances during an end of month (EOM) process within their supervision. Troubleshoots, corrects and request changes in Eatec as needed, communicates with Purchasing/Receiving concerns, and communicates any delivery shortages or miss-picks.4. Maintains department procedures and responsible for coordinating daily activities within the guidelines of the department. Including the cleaning and organizing of all storage areas under their supervision. Accountable for the reporting of any safety violations & or of any real/personal property damage (including company facility & structures). 5. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a storeroom/inventory control operation necessary or related field is required.
Previous leadership training/experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.
Must have a demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively and works well with a team.
Must present themselves professionally with an approachable and accommodating demeanor to both guests and team members.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
Experience working with Eatec software is a huge plus.
Must have open availability and be flexible with scheduling based on business needs.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
