The PositionThe Lead Business Analyst & IT Product Owner will oversee all systems within the product and join the (non-Case Report Forms) non-CRF Data Provisioning Product durable squad. This individual will handle product ownership, conduct business analysis, and lead a team of BAs from Managed Services working across various systems. They will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Delivery Service Manager/System Owner to deliver high-quality products that significantly impact the Pharma & DIA businesses.
The Opportunity:Act as the primary point of contact for the product, balancing business needs, customer requirements, and technical feasibility.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure features and improvements deliver maximum value.
Partner with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and analyses to capture business requirements.
Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria for the development team.
Craft IT solutions in collaboration with the Tech Lead and contribute to validation documentation.
Offer clear mentorship and direction to the development team throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating activities and supporting a team of approximately 4 Business Analysts working across the systems.
Who you are:Capable of collecting, analyzing, and documenting detailed business and technical requirements to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals and deliverables.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate workshops, and provide clear and concise documentation.
Ideally, knowledge about clinical data flow in Pharma Development Data Sciences (PDD), especially non-CRF data flow.
Exhibits strong leadership and team management skills to guide and mentor team members effectively without direct supervision.
Understands the computer system validation (CSV) process to ensure IT systems comply with regulatory requirements and function accurately.
Has a proven technical background with a good understanding of IT systems, IT architectures, proficiency in data querying and analysis, and knowledge of REST APIs and cloud technology for integrating and leveraging cloud-based services.
Strong experience with Agile frameworks, including writing and prioritizing user stories, managing backlogs, coordinating sprints, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and presenting findings clearly to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
