Position Summary Details The Lead Janitor is responsible for overseeing the custodial team and ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role includes hands-on cleaning duties, supervision of janitorial staff, scheduling, and coordination with facility management to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of janitorial staff. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas. Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Train new custodial staff and provide ongoing guidance and support. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and checklists. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Respond to emergency cleaning situations promptly and effectively. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.    Preferred Qualifications  Customer Service Experience  One year of lead or supervisory experience
