Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer.
This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.Experience in Java, Spring boot and Webservices.Preferred QualificationsAt least 4 to 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies, spring boot and experience in frameworks like Spring, hibernate.Experience in WebLogic architecture, covering design, administration, configuration, and integration.Experience in middleware architecture knowledge, design, and development, including IBM Integration Bus (ACE)/Message Broker, WebSphere DataPower, WebSphere MQ, MuleSoft, and DevOps Release Engineering. Experience in HTTP and HTTPS, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and internet protocols including DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, and SNMP and knowledgeable in web products such as oracle HTTP Server (OHS).Experience with unix and shell scripting for automating tasks and managing systems.Successfully integrated and deployed applications on WebLogic in a shared hosting environment.Experience in installing, clustering, and performing performance tuning and troubleshooting for application servers.Experience in working with XML and Web Services for data exchange and application integration.Experience in AIX, Linux, and Windows administration, providing comprehensive system support.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
