As part of OTC derivatives technology team for Confirmations, you will be working with a group of passionate engineers who build technical solutions to complex business problems.
We are going through a very exciting phase of tech transformation, and you will be required to participate in the whole spectrum of building a software solution, closely working product teams and users. We expect you to contribute to our vision of building a strong engineering culture within our global teams.
This role is for someone who enjoys solving engineering challenges, has experience in building robust and high-quality solutions, has excellent communication skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Manage Applications Development team in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team.Lead resources and serve as a technical SME across the project through advanced knowledge of data structures, distributed systems, use of knowledge and experience to lead, architect, and drive broader adoption forward.Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications.Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects.Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.Respond to queries from L2 support team or business stakeholders as L3 during office hours mainly on rotational basis along with existing team members.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering12+ years of hands-on professional software development experienceProficiency in programming in Java, Spring boot, Microservices.JavaScript or React is good to haveHands on experience of building RESTful APIs using popular frameworks like SpringExperience of working with event driven systems, microservices, micro-frontend UIsExperience of following TDD and clean code principlesProficiency with data structures, algorithms and SQLBachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering field involving software programming or systems engineeringPreferred Qualifications
Experience of using cloud services such as AWS and distributed systems such as Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB or any other NoSQL databaseExperience of working in investment bank or financial services industry------------------------------------------------------
